It’s always good to have this on hand. Freeze unused portions for use at a later time.
- 1/2 chicken
- 2 carrots
- 1/2 onion
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black cracked pepper
How to make it
- Boil 2 & 1/2 quarts water in stock pot.
- Add ingredients.
- Let fester all day long on low heat, or a couple of hours at a minimum.
- Strain solid material from stock.
This is a basic stock, variations are virtually infinite.
